DIY Mini Toilet Paper Roll Heart Wreath

Even though Valentine’s Day was yesterday, there is still love in the air! This adorable heart wreath is a cute way to keep celebrating the spirit of love as the month of February progresses!

Materials needed:

-Toilet paper roll

-Red and pink acrylic paint

-Red and pink construction paper

-Paintbrush

-Scissors

-Glue

-Pencil

-Ribbon (optional, not pictured below)

Now that we have everything, let’s get crafting!

First, cut your toilet paper roll into six approximately half-inch segments. *Note that this wreath is pretty small, so use two or three toilet paper rolls for a more substantial wreath!*

Paint half of the toilet paper rings pink and the other half red. Let them dry. *Note: It may be beneficial to paint the rings with a layer of white paint first, so the pink and red paint appears more vibrant!*

Now, fold each toilet paper ring into a heart shape by pinching half of it and folding the rest towards that point. Follow the images below for clarity.

Next, trace the outline of the three pink toilet paper roll hearts on the pink construction paper and cut the heart shapes out. Repeat this step with the red paper and toilet paper roll hearts.

Then, glue every paper heart on top of its correspondingly colored toilet paper heart.

Now, arrange the hearts in a circle and glue them together. I chose to have the paper side of the wreath in the back so the toilet paper hearts were the main focal point, though you can arrange the hearts to your liking.

You can also optionally glue a ribbon to the wreath to hang it up on a wall.

That’s the completed mini heart wreath! Happy Valentine’s Day!
