DIY Toilet Paper Roll Cat

Are you a cat or dog person? I prefer dogs, but here’s an adorable craft for all the kiddos out there who are cat lovers!

Materials needed:

-Toilet paper roll

-Scissors

-Orange paint

-Paintbrush

-Orange construction paper

-Brown or black marker

-Self-adhesive googly eyes

-Tape

Now that we have everything, let’s get crafting!

An optional step before we begin: cut your toilet paper roll in half if you want a smaller cat as I did.

Paint the toilet paper roll with orange paint.

Once the paint is dried, attach the googly eyes near the top of the toilet paper roll. Then, cut out two triangles from the orange construction paper. These triangles are the ears of your cat.

Tape the triangles to the inside of the toilet paper roll so they peek out on top. You can also cut out a squiggly tail and tape that to the back of the toilet paper roll.

Finally, take your marker and draw on a little nose and whiskers for your cat. Fun fact: cats have whiskers on the backs of their front legs!
