Stars are so beautiful! There is something almost magical about the way they glimmer in the night sky. This wall decoration craft is the perfect way to bring that beauty indoors.
Materials needed:
-Yellow construction paper
-Orange construction paper (mine is more yellow-orange)
-Pencil
-Scissors
-Tape
-Blue string or yarn
Now that we have everything, let’s get crafting!
First, draw and cut out a crescent moon from your yellow construction paper.
Next, draw eight stars (four on the orange paper and four on the yellow) and erase the lines in the middle to have just the outlines of the stars. Cut them out.
Then, cut the blue string into three pieces. Ours were about seven inches long, but yours can be longer or shorter, depending on what length looks good with your moon. Flip the moon over and tape the strings to the back of it.
Flip the moon over to the front and tape stars to the strings; three on the left, three on the right, and two in the middle.
That’s our completed wall decoration! You can tape it to the wall or attach a loop of string to the back so you can hang it. How cute!
